Teadora Favorite - Firm and Glowing Skin Diet
Thought I would start our healthy-glowing skin diets by sharing a very simple daily menu that I like to follow for at least one week every month. It is fun and yummy and you will be able to see results on your skin, body and energy if you are able to follow it for a week!!! For best results, accompany it with a brisk walk or run daily and a nice Yoga class at least 2x a week.
Breakfast: 1 cup of orange juice, 2 poached eggs, 1 slice of whole wheat bread, 1 cup of green tea
Morning snack: 1 cup of cashew juice (can be replaced with carrot juice, papaya, or cucumber). If you want to try cashew juice which is absolutely delicous, try to find a Brazilian store near you, or buy it online.
Lunch: Mix Lettuce , radish, cucumber, and tomatoes in a bowl. Add sautéed green leaves such as wattercress and arugula. Lastly, add 2 slices of roasted beef or chicken and 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley to garnish.
Afternoon snack: 2 cups of fruit salad (apple, pear, tangerine, guava, kiwi and mango). Of course we had to add some fun, tropical fruits!!!
Dinner: ½ cup of cooked chickpeas, ½ cup of cherry tomatoes, 3 olives, 2 oz of buffalo mozzarella, 1 chicken breast fillet - grilled.
Supper: 1 cup of fat-free milk blended with 1 tablespoon of cocoa.
Make it a monthly routine and you will LOVE the results!!!!
